Tast a la Rambla", gastronomic festival 2022 arrives
In the heart of the historic district of Ciudad Vella, (discover the nice apartments we have in Ciudad Vella), will be held the 8th annual edition of one of the most anticipated gastronomic events, and finally it will be without restrictions and use of masks.
From June 2 to 6, 35 of the best restaurants and pastry shops in Barcelona will gather on the Rambla de Santa Monica to create an atmosphere of culinary feast where the most benefited will be our palates.
The translation would be "Tasting on the Rambla", and is that along the 1.2km of promenade during the famous and very busy Rambla de Catalunya, will be located food stands offering a variety of dishes and delicacies that you can enjoy outdoors, right next to the Columbus Monument.
What it's all about?
The tasting proposal contemplates 4 areas from which you will be able to choose Signature Cuisine, Pastry, Tapas and Dishes and Traditional Cuisine, plus a special area for collaborators and sponsors.
Among the most renowned chefs and pastry chefs we find Christina Escribà, Carles Abellán, Paco Pérez, Oriol Balaguer, Carles Gaig, Jordi Esteve, Iván Surinder, Jordi Butrón, Rafa Zafra, Eugeni de Diego and Albert Raurich; as well as acclaimed restaurants such as Chickoa, bar Alegría, Can Pizza, pastelería Escribá, among many others.
In addition, each year the festival surprises us with a special guest; in this latest edition, it is Saborea Lanzarote, who will present the creative and tasty dishes of the warm volcanic island.
There will also be complementary activities related to the gastronomic world such as workshops, demonstrations, musical performances, etc.

How it works?
Access is free, but consumption is done through the purchase of "tokens" that you can exchange for the dish or dishes you like the most. Repeats are totally allowed.
The tokens can be obtained at the box office (cash or credit card payment) or in the spaces of one of the sponsors, Estrella Damm.
