The most beautiful parks in Barcelona

There is nothing better than walking through beautiful parks surrounded by nature, spectacular water fountains, gardens that seem enchanted and listening to the singing of birds. That is why we believe it is important for you to know all these parks, some more hidden than others and that you will undoubtedly love!

1.- Parque de la Ciudadela: formerly this park was the well-known neighborhood of La Ribera. Today it corresponds to one of the most iconic spots, because it is in the heart of Barcelona and is one of the largest and most beautiful parks in the city. In it you can find spectacular water fountains dating from 1872, a lagoon in the middle with ducklings and huge green areas to lie on the grass and rest.

2.- Park Güell: When you enter this park you will feel like you are in a fairy tale. Full of colors, this spectacular work of Gaudí will make you fall in love. Ideal to visit with children, we invite you to walk through its beautiful corners such as the walkway of palm trees, walking along the three bridges that connect the different areas and visiting its spectacular views from the heights. A different, entertaining and familiar panorama.

3.- Cervantes Park: it is located in the Pedralbes neighborhood and was inaugurated in the last century. It is famous for the variety of roses, about 245. Thanks to the perfect climate of Barcelona these roses are in bloom almost all year round, from April to November. Undoubtedly a spectacle. Every year a competition of new roses is held in this park, which are baptized with different names by their creators.

4.- Labyrinth of Horta: this beautiful garden is located in the district of Horta-Guinardó and corresponds to the oldest garden in the city, dating from 1974. It formerly belonged to the Desvalls family. It corresponds to a neoclassical garden of the eighteenth century and opened its doors to the public in 1971.The famous labyrinth is created with cut cypress trees and is the main attraction of this beautiful garden-museum that has been the protagonist of countless plays and cultural events. As a curious fact, scenes from the famous movie "Perfume" were filmed in this garden.

5.- Poblenou Center Park: It is located in the heart of the district of Sant Martí, in the heart of the 22@ neighborhood, a sector dedicated exclusively to the development of new technologies, start ups, new trends, focused on economic and technological development. This beautiful park stands out for its various thematic spaces, where avant-garde and modern design predominates. It is also an excellent alternative to go with children because it has extensive vegetation that makes the park has several shaded areas.
