Are you staying to celebrate New Year's Eve in Barcelona? We tell you where to celebrate the last night of 2023 and the beginning of 2024

The new year is approaching by leaps and bounds. If you still don't have plans, we invite you to review this complete list of the best plans for you to enjoy the beginning of the year you deserve.

A great alternative is to dine at one of the iconic hotels in Barcelona. Many of them offer gala dinners along with a night's accommodation at the hotel. Here are some of the hotels that promise an unforgettable evening:

-. Hotel Palace: in this version the chef Jesús Caballero proposes different menus for Christmas and New Year's Eve, with different appetizers to share, three or four alternatives of main course and dessert. You can enjoy this unforgettable evening in the Gran Vía Room or in the Rooftop Garden.

-. Hotel Sofitel Barcelona Skipper: in a unique and sophisticated atmosphere, the Tendiez restaurant will offer special menus for New Year's Eve. It will feature unique delicacies that you can enjoy under the glass pyramid as the organic beef tenderloin with millefeuille of potato confit and jam or crayfish from the Costa Brava Belleuve style, among others.

-. The Barcelona Edition: You can celebrate New Year's Eve at Veraz, Cabaret or The Roof.

In Veraz you can enjoy an exquisite carpaccio of red prawns from Palamós, its grilled turbot and a rested beef tenderloin. Cabaret starts with a cocktail and a DJ session. The protagonists will be oysters, tuna tataki, osetra caviar and Iberian ham. Then you can enjoy a delicious suckling pig confit and rice with beans. Finally, The Roof will be a dinner of Asian-inspired appetizers.

-. Majestic Hotel & Spa: you can enjoy a unique evening at SOLC restaurant where the stars will be the salmon and shark tartar, oxtail croquettes, octopus mini mollete and much more!

Another great alternative is to participate in the Great New Year's Eve Party in Barcelona, which is organized next to the fountain of Montjuic from 21:30 hrs with the beautiful show of the Magic Fountain of Montjuic (this year this show will not take place due to the drought in Barcelona). Then at 23:00 hrs begins the official show, full of magic, performing arts and incredible fireworks that will illuminate the sky of Barcelona at 00:00 o'clock.

After enjoying this incredible show that lasts about 20 minutes, we recommend you to finish the night in one of the main nightclubs in the city to celebrate the New Year's Eve party and dance all night long to welcome 2024, such as the Sutton, the Bling Bling, the New Year's Eve Party at Pueblo Español, Razzmatazz, Opium Mar, among others.

Have a great New Year's Eve together with your friends and family!
